Christmas in Park City

We recently returned from our Christmas adventure (AnnMarie insisted on that being added) in Park City, UT. We had a blast visiting our southern neighbor and being with AnnMarie's family. We saw the lights at Temple Square, sledded in Grandma and Grandpa's backyard and behind the middle school, had helicopter wars and ate at the Gardens in the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. AnnMarie sprained her ankle (with about thirty minutes in shock), Andrew almost died from his cold (yes, that was hyperbole) and we had a great time with the Horton cousins.

Johnathan (AnnMarie's little brother) entered the Missionary Training Center before we made it down to Utah, so we're sad we did not get to see him off. We know he'll do great in Argentina.

Andrew's odd hobbies!

Andrew has recently caught wind of a new football league called the United Football League (UFL) which will start up on the 8th of October. He's ventured onto a message board in his spare time to discuss different aspects of this leagues early happenings (and other random stuff as well). 

So, for his signature... he decided to use a helmet from www.mghelmets.com (thanks so much MG!) and create something unique.

Demolition Derby!!! 23 September 2009

While out here in Idaho, Andrew tries to help AnnMarie enjoy many cultural events such as horse pulls, trips to Big Jud's and demolition derbies!!

This has become an annual event for the family and always ends up to be great for car crashes and people watching.

Life Update - 20 May 2009

Welcome to our joint venture into the world of cyberspace! 

Since we're here, let's give you an update on our happenings:

We've both have been under the weather for the past few weeks (Andrew moreso than AnnMarie) which always equals a good time at school and at work. AnnMarie is in school for the summer semester and she's trying to keep her head on straight with all of the homework/time at school she logs in (especially on Tuesdays/Thursdays). She started her minor, Math Ed, as well and she's taking a Calculus class everyday of the week... well, school week - you get the idea.

Andrew has been a busy beaver putting in longer days at Valleywide while doing his regular work for the Church (all that custodian fun wrapped up with being a stock boy). He also racked up his first sunburn to complement his fair skin. He is literally a redneck... yes, pun intended. He's also working on a podcast while doing an outline for a book. He isn't happy unless he's maxed out mentally.

Next week, the lovely couple head out to the Sooner state to see Andrew's family. AnnMarie hasn't met most of his family; so it's going to be a time of rest, relaxation and making new acquaintances. 

Oh, back to the illness thing. AnnMarie is doing better and she's back to her "bright eyed and bushy tailed" self. Andrew is getting better, so cross your fingers he continues to do so.
